As a UI Designer at Orbitz, I was assigned the lead UI role in taking Orbitz’s two Australian based sister sites, HotelClub and RatesToGo, brand identities and migrating them onto the established platform that Orbitz and its other brands utilize. This year-long project encompassed not only all UI aspects of the search and shopping paths, but the additional complexity of supporting 15 languages and 18 currencies. Working closely with Product, Strategy, Information Architecture, and Development teams, I was able to successfully design for many unique features that come with the supporting multi-language and multi-currency.
